Steve enjoys being a trusted adviser, working closely with successful business and professional people and their families to achieve their lifestyle goals and objectives.  This means developing long-term relationships in partnership with clients.

Steve has worked as a practicing financial planner since 1995, initially with IPD, which subsequently merged with NZFP. Prior to this, he operated a small business, developing and utilising his management, marketing and consulting skills.

In 1995 he completed the IPAC Securities course in Financial Planning.  In 1997, at Massey University, he completed his Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, specialising in Personal Financial Planning. He also obtained his Certified Financial PlannerCM certification in 1998.

Steve Lives in the Wellington suburb of Te Aro with his wife, Bev and has two adult children.  His interests outside his family include Rotary, Toastmasters, tennis, reading, music and motor sport.  He is a member of:

  • Wellington South Rotary Club, where he has filled a number of senior roles including:

    • President in Rotary's Centennial year 2004/2005 and the 50th Jubilee of Wellington South

    • Assistant Governor 2006/2007, responsible for five Rotary Clubs  

    • Vocational Director 2002/2003, with a strong interest in the Pride of Workmanship Awards

    • Member of Multi-club Karori Wildlife Sanctuary Discovery Area Governance Committee

  • Entrepreneurs Success Programme, completing the three year programme 

  • Toastmasters - Charter Member Mount Victoria and Advanced Toast Master Bronze (ATM-B) 

Steve looks after clients in Wellington, Kapiti, Palmerston North and the Manawatu.
