New Zealand Financial Planning was originally formed when chartered accountant, Greg Moyle and lawyer, Jordi Garcia joined forces in 1987 with the aim of helping people fully harness their resources to create, grow and secure wealth.

Shortly afterwards, a solid governance structure was put in place to oversee business operations. We use an independent trustee company to act as custodian for all your transactions and a high calibre, independent, investment research company to prepare all reports on the value of your portfolio.

Our Management Board is responsible for the company's governance and strategic direction and consists of five elected NZFP Principals. Alan Lawton is the current chairman. We have two Joint Managing Directors: Greg Moyle (Marketing & PR) and Mike Staal (Operations) and a General Manager, Craig Dealey, who is responsible for Technical Services, Administration
and I.T (Information Technology).

Our regional offices are managed by their respective NZFP Principals, who report to the Management Board.

An Investment Committee consisting of four NZFP Principals and our General Manager is responsible for external specialist/service provider appointment, liaison and monitoring.
